Christian Aid's Work in Lebanon and Iraq
Christian Aid's partners in Lebanon are supporting hundreds of children displaced by war in Syria by providing education and opportunities to make new friends. Families also receive trauma-related support. In Iraq, Christian Aid's partners are providing training and employability skills to young people whose lives have been devastated by conflict.
So, if you can bring any guests that would be great. Tickets are £5 to cover the whole day and can be bought online or on the door. Of course, donations from acts will be more than welcome.
Finally, without being too controlling, please be respectful that this is a church and we are raising money for refugees from Syria and Iraq. So, please no racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or generally unreasonably prejudiced sets. I had to say that ðŸËâ°
Look forward to meeting you,
Phil
P.S. as this is a fundraiser, I can't offer payment.
