Musical Comedy: A New Hope....

Amid the toxic sea of parody-drenched sonic atrocity that passes for musical comedy, David Jordan stands like a beacon of hope to all whose shoulders slump when they see a "comedian" with a 'guitar'.
David was a finalist in the Brighton Comedy Festival Awards and received a nomination for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and Piccadilly Comedian of the Year and won the inaugural Musical Comedian of the Year from the Musical Comedy Festival.

Combining his brilliant voice with carefully crafted, hilarious and memorable songs, though still a comedy fledgling, David is an in-demand performer & writer, having written for BBC TVs Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Children In Need & Not Going Out, BBC Radio 4's, 'The News Quiz', Channel 4's 8 out of 10 Cats, 8 Out Of Ten Cats Do Countdown and Comedy Central's Roast Battle & Seann Walsh World and Romesh Ranganathan's Hip Hop Saved My Life.

He has even contributed jokes and artwork for Dave's Greg Davies Taskmaster.

David is currently branching out into directing and has recently returned from New York where he wrote and directed his own original triptych of comedy plays which were staged off-Broadway. He is also busy writing his first hour show and accompanying book and has a sit-com and sketch-show in development.

He was also hand-picked to support Francesca Martinez, Simon Evans and Zoe Lyons on their respective recent UK tours.
