My family has deep hillbilly roots. My family traces back more than 200 years to Thorn Hill, Tennessee. I may live in California now, but I've learned one thing—you can move away from your roots, but they never really leave you.
That's where my comedy comes from.
Whether I'm navigating city life, traveling across the country, or remembering my daddy's old-school advice, the hillbilly in me always seems to show up at exactly the wrong—or funniest—time.
