JEWISH COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR 2015 LASTMINUTE COMEDY COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR 2015 AMUSED MOOSE LAUGH OFF SEMI-FINALIST 2016 Philip Simon is a Jewish stand up comedian from North London, who can often be found gigging all around the country. Having trained as an actor at the Guildford School of Acting, Philip has appeared in TV, film and theatre, including guest roles in sitcoms 'According to Bex' and 'My Family' and a run of long-running live satire 'Newsrevue' at the Canal Cafe Theatre. He also played the roles of Daddy Pig and Danny Dog in Peppa Pig's Party, which toured the UK for over a year and ran in the West End for 5 weeks. Yet, his crowning glory in the world of puppetry is being a Muppeteer in The Muppets Most Wanted! Since starting comedy in April 2011 Philip has performed gigs throughout the UK, New York and Tel Aviv and in November 2013 he headlined Raw Comedy at The Classic in Auckland. As well as having recently been working as a rehearsal guest on the BBC's Mock the Week, he is a regular on the corporate and commercial scene and writes for other acts also.
