What the hell is Stellavision

Ms Stella is the Revenant, back on the hustings after two decades, her missing years can neither be explained by anything as interesting as string theory nor attributed to merit, or glory and possibly weren't even noticed.
Regrettably, it was just the film industry.
Stella Kinsella runs the Newport Comedy Room a rough diamond in Melbourne's inner west. It was kick started by an inaugural Melbourne International Comedy festival event featuring Mandy Nolan in 2015 and now presents regular live shows and events with headlines including Denise Scott, Dave O Neil, Lawrence Mooney and a sold out season in 2016 with Ellen Briggs and Mandy for Women Like US.
In Byron, during la belle epoch, Stella was a regular performer and MC, working solo or as part of the erstwhile Queen Bs. She produced the live interview-based comedy show Stellavision featuring guest appearances from Grace Knight, Austen Tayshus, Di Morrissey, Greg Pickhaver and many more
During the missing years, she hosted many film industry events including the Screen Producers Awards, The Adelaide Film Festival Awards, Australian Writers Guild events and produced and curated the satirical Annual Film and TV Awards spoof- The Short Poppies.
Before starting a family (finally at 40 phew!) she wrote and directed the documentary Making Mary & Max following the cast and crew of Academy Award Winner Adam Elliot's 2-year odyssey to create his epic animation. It features improvised performances with Barry Humphries, Renee Geyer and Eric Bana.
Life now, oddly, includes weekly appearances at Melbourne Zoo where she interprets animal behaviour for a living.
Its much more civilised than the film industry.
