Jon Gagnon

Jon Gagnon is a Vancouver-based stand-up comedian known for his sharp storytelling, quick improvisation, and laid-back stage presence. Blending clever observations with spontaneous crowd work, Jon’s performances are never quite the same twice—each set evolving in the moment as he builds stories and riffs with the audience.

Jon is a two-time finalist in the Vancouver Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Competition and has performed in the Burbank Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Paris Comedy Festival. A versatile creator, he is also an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter, the creator of the animated series Stickman Cartoon, and the star of the late-night style show This Month Tonight.

In addition to his stand-up and filmmaking work, Jon appeared on Season 2 of Canada's Smartest Person, showcasing the same quick thinking that fuels his live performances.

A regular performer at Underground Comedy Club—a two-time winner of Best Comedy Club in Vancouver—Jon has built a reputation for high-energy shows that combine polished material with off-the-cuff moments that keep audiences guessing.
