Jack Mink is a bit of a clown/stand up and a bit like a music hall act. He has performed at venues in London including The Laughing Horse in Camden, The Laughing Horse in Richmond, The Kings Head in Crouch End, The Comedy Night at Stratford East, The Comedy Bin in Hackney, Freedom of the Fringe and Monkey Business in Kentish Town. Venues out of town include The Brunswick in Brighton, for Jim Grant in Eastbourne, Hastings and Lincoln, at Bad Clowns in Colchester, for Dennis Pratt at the Ambass

Most recently he has started doing regular ten min slots for Mirth Control including Bridport, Minehead, Hailsham, (twice), Barton La Cray, Wincanton, Bath, Cambridge, Birmingham, Burton on Trent, Leatherhead, Sturminster Newton and Arlingham. He has recently been booked for his first paid middle spot by Mirth Control. Jack has done two full length Edinburgh Shows. The full length show is more theatrical. One of my favourites of this year's festival fringe, and a completely undiscovered gem. This show is captivating and engaging - Jack is an original and entertaining character and must be seen to be believed. Absolutely unique. Nic Coupe Three Weeks **** A really good character and the material works Geoff Whiting. Mirth Control You got some very good gags Jim Grant Oi Oi Comedy A clown who is very funny Hazel Humpheries Promoter Wivenhoe Funny Farm Jack Mink is a very unique character - his jokes range from the groan-makingly awful to the sublime and revelatory, and he straddles the fine line between tragi-comic clown and care in the comedy community. Likeable but unsettling, naive and innocent but somehow strangely sinister. Is he an idiot savant? or does he know more! Neil McFarlane
