Stand-up comedian
I've officially decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy—a decision my family describes as "interesting" and my bank account describes as "concerning."
I've always loved making people laugh, whether through clever observations, awkward life experiences, or accidentally embarrassing myself in public. After years of being the funniest person in my group chat, I figured it was time to test my skills in front of actual human beings.
As a new stand-up comedian, I'm learning that comedy is a unique profession where complete strangers judge you in real time, and somehow that's considered entertainment. My material is inspired by everyday life, bad decisions, social awkwardness, and the strange things we all pretend are normal.
I'm excited to grow as a performer, sharpen my craft, and hopefully leave audiences laughing harder than my parents laughed when I told them this was my career plan. This is just the beginning of my comedy journey, and while I can't promise every joke will be a hit, I can promise there will be plenty of attempts.
