For years, DONTEE' “THE DON MEGGA” RAY has entertained audiences all over the world with his make you think humor. He began his comedy career as a member of The Black Top Improv Group, which once held the title as the country's only all African American Improv troupe during the late nineties throughout the mid two-thousands. While growing up in Pontiac, Michigan and LaGrange, Georgia, Dontee' seemed to always be able to make an audience laugh. After encouragement from his friends and family members, he decided to follow his dream to become a comedian.
As a mainstay in the comedy circuit, Dontee' has been able to bless stages from New York to Los Angeles. Now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, The Don Megga is a consistent player in the very competitive Atlanta comedy scene. Over the years Dontee' has shared the stage with comedy icons such as Ced “The Entertainer”, Chris Tucker, Mike Epps, Bruce Bruce, just to name a few.
Dontee' “The Don Megga” is quality entertainment for all audiences, his make you think humor, allows the audience to use their brain as well as exercise their laughing muscles. “Let Laughter Rinse Your Soul”, is the closing statement at the end of all Dontee's shows. He truly believes if you can touch someone with laughter then you have fulfilled a part of God's purpose.
