Ashley Kennett first tried her hand at stand up in 2009 when she took a class at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase ran by the late Chili Challis, who worked with Jay Leno.
Although she took nearly two decades (mostly) away from the stage, she never stopped writing jokes . She also explored other avenues for creation such as Tik Tok , where her cat went viral.
She was a 2026 finalist for the Midwest Comedy Competition for the Underground Laugh Lounge in Niles MI. She has done shows produced by Mike Geeter of SamRose Entertainment, as well as many others. She hops all around to different mics semi frequently .
