Angela Barnes at The Comedy Cow

BBC New Comedy Award winner, and star of Channel 4's Stand Up for the Week Angela Barnes headlines this pre-Valentines show. With her self-deprecating humour and punchy one-liners, the salty, straight-talking comic, who has toured with Alan Carr will be talking about the big stuff - life, love, family, work and death - and how rubbish she is at all of it. With shades of Frank Skinner and Jo Brand, Angela is one of the hottest acts on the circuit. Opening the show is Phil Jerrod. Having begun his stand-up career underneath an Angus Steakhouse in 2012. Since then he has failed his PhD, walked out of his job in publishing and been entertaining audiences up and down the country with his elegant rants on the often unfathomable problems of modern life. Hosting the show is Milton Keynes based Jimmy James Jones, a comic/actor on the rise! With his crazy physical presence he has a way of making an audience laugh without even saying a word. The resident compere at The Comedy Caf탩 in Shoreditch, Jimmy James Jones is regarded as one of the best hosts on the circuit. Also on the bill will be 2 up-and-coming comedians.
