VENUE CHANGE- Be at one Liverpool Street
F are a Leeds based charity working to eradicate period poverty. We work by supplying free period products to schools, women's groups, prisons and homeless women. We also have projects in East Africa that supply girls and women with reusable, washable pads and deliver an education programme that addresses stigmas, taboos and builds confidence and self esteem across the communities.
On Friday 5 July, we are hosting an awareness raising event for our project in Uganda. Starting with a panel of activists in the #freeperiods movement, we will then be ending the evening with an array of guest performers: comics, musicians and spoken word artists.
If you have an interest in women's rights and gender equality issues, please get in touch and apply for a slot by providing links/ attachments to your current material.
5, 10 and 15 minute slots available.
Thanks all :)
