Stand-Up for Food Banks: Call for Acts
📅 Wednesday 2nd December
📍 Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester
🎟️ £5 ticket plus a bag of food
Legion of Laughs is putting on a charity stand-up night in aid of local food banks, and we're looking for comedians to join the line-up.
Entry is £5 plus a donated bag of food, so every ticket helps people who are struggling this winter. We want as much as possible to go to the cause, so we're asking acts to keep fees as low as possible, or to give their time for free if you're able to. Any fee will be modest, but we'll look after you on the night.
What you'll get:
A great room, a supportive crowd and a night that matters
Stage time at a well-run Colchester gig
Promotion across our channels
What we're looking for:
Experienced acts who can deliver a tight, crowd-friendly set
People who want to support a good cause with their talent
If you'd like to be involved, apply here.
Come and make people laugh and help feed people. 🧡
Want me to add set lengths, a start time or a deadline for applications? I can also do a shorter version for social media or a Facebook group post.
