Funhouse Comedy Club is back at The Pavilion at Ingleside House, on Friday July 10th for another great night of laughter.
Topping the bill is the charismatic and highly talented Sony Award winner, Tom Wrigglesworth, comedian, Radio and TV presenter and voice-over artist who has had two series’ on BBC Radio 4. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they’re old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion never fail to captivate everyone.
Opening the night will be Scottish comedian and writer Stephen Carlin who supported both Stewart Lee and Stephen Merchant on tour and appeared in ‘Stewart Lee Presents ‘The Ten Best Stand-ups in the World Ever’. He also appeared on ITV’s ‘Comedy Cuts’ and has written for various radio programmes including ‘The News Quiz’ and ‘The Now Show’. His dreamy and calm onstage persona captivates his audiences whilst his distinctive humour never fails to leave them howling with laughter.
Completing the line-up is the engaging Drew Taylor with his concise and funny remarks. From sharp one-liners to playful improvisation, he effortlessly adapts to the energy of the room, keeping the crowd on their toes and engaged from start to finish.
Compere for the night will be Demitris Deech renowned for his ad-libbing he has been support act for several well known comedians such as Alan Carr, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert and has appeared on television with Alan Davis.
