Sharup Karim

Sharup Karim is a nationally performing South Asian American standup comedian based in Chicago as well as a headline and features contributor for The Onion. He was previously selected to be a featured performer at the NBC Break Out Festival at Second City. He has also performed at The Laugh Factory, Zanies Chicago, Zanies Nashville, Philly Comedy Club, Dallas Comedy House, Comedy Oakland, The Comedy Bar, Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle, and has been featured at numerous comedy festivals including The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, The World Comedy Expo, the Flyover Comedy Festival in St. Louis, the Floodwater Comedy Festival in Iowa City, LaughFest Grand Rapids, The North Carolina Comedy Festival, YallaPunk in Philly, and the world-renowned Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, he performed regularly on the Outcasted Comedy Tour which has opened to sold-out shows in multiple cities across the US including Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C., New York City, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, and Stanford University.
