Niki Coleman, a proud native of Lorman, MS, has turned life’s challenges into a source of laughter and inspiration. A US Air Force veteran, Niki served with honor before finding her true calling in comedy. Her resilience and determination have made her a beacon of empowerment, transforming personal trials into comedic triumphs.
For the past 8 years, Niki has performed in 34 states, captivating audiences with her unique storytelling and humor. Her ability to transform personal experiences into relatable and hilarious moments has made her a standout in the comedy world. Sharing stages with comedy heavyweights like Michael Blackson, DC Young Fly, J. Anthony Brown, Shane Gillis, Kam Patterson, Ari Matteson, and many more, Niki has solidified her place as a comedic force.
Her talent has been recognized through numerous accolades, including three-time North Mississippi Comedian of the Year wins and the 228 Award for Best Comedy Host on the Coast. Niki’s international appeal was showcased in a Swedish documentary by SVT, where she shared the spotlight with top chef Tariq Taylor and journalist Carina Bergfeldt.
In December 2023, Niki began a new chapter in Austin, TX, quickly becoming a powerhouse in the local comedy scene. She has performed at iconic venues like Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership, The Velv Room, Cap City Comedy, SoHo House ATX, and The Tiniest Bar in Texas. Her journey has also taken her to renowned stages like The Comedy Store in LA, Comedy in Harlem, Chuckles Comedy House (Memphis & Jackson), and Riddles Comedy Club in Chicago. Most recently, Niki performed at the Harlem Comedy Club Grand Opening in New York, the Comedy Store in LA, and the 2024 BET Awards. She also assisted in the activation as a guest host at SXSW for the podcast “Do I Intimidate You” alongside host Michelle Walker (NY).
In addition to stand-up, Niki has ventured into acting, starring as the lead female character in the Tubi film Da First. She has also proven her versatility by producing her own shows and performing over 100 gigs in her first year in Texas.
