My name is LitWit’It, and this is more than a name—it’s how I feel every day I’m still alive.
My life changed after a devastating car accident that left me with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The crash took away pieces of my memory and changed the way I experienced the world. Things that once came naturally became daily battles. Remembering people, conversations, and moments became a challenge, and I had to learn how to keep moving forward even when my own mind felt unfamiliar.
Determined to rebuild my life, I returned to the gentleman’s club where I had previously worked, eventually taking on a management role. I believed being back in a familiar environment would help me regain confidence and reconnect with the parts of myself I felt I had lost.
Instead, my recovery took another painful turn. While managing the club, I was attacked by a customer. The incident deeply affected me, both emotionally and mentally, and became another major setback in my healing journey. After already fighting through the challenges of a traumatic brain injury, that experience made rebuilding my memory and sense of security even more difficult.
Even with those setbacks, I refuse to let my story end there. Every day is another opportunity to heal, grow, and prove to myself that I am stronger than the obstacles I’ve faced. I continue to build new memories, chase new dreams, and find purpose despite everything that has happened.
That’s why I call myself LitWit’It. The name represents more than a nickname—it represents survival. It reminds me that no matter what life has taken from me, I’m still here. I’m still breathing. I’m still laughing. I’m still creating. And I’m still living.
This is only the beginning of my story. Come get litwit me
