About Joseph Anthony
Joseph Anthony’s comedic journey began early, using sarcasm to navigate tough times while finding joy in variety shows like The Carol Burnett Show and comedians like Pat Cooper. He has been a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, has a Dry Bar Special on YouTube, and was a guest on ABC’s The View. Joseph has headlined top venues such as Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, MI, and Comedy Cabana, SC. His acclaimed one-man show, Joseph Anthony Speaks the Truth, was a hit at New Jersey’s Algonquin Arts Theatre.
Known for transcending the "Italian comic" stereotype, Joseph's humor draws from real-life struggles, earning praise for his improvisational skills and relatable storytelling. He's been called, “a modern-day Lenny Bruce!” Although focused on strong performances, he’s won several competitions, including the Carnival Cruise Lines Comedy Challenge and Howard Stern’s Kill or Be Killed. Starting work at eleven instilled in him a lifelong dedication to his craft.
