Bennet has been a finalist in several national comedy competitions and was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy Writing Initiative in 2019 for the sitcom he co-wrote. He performs at clubs across the country including Up the Creek, the Leicester Square Theatre and the London and Manchester Comedy Stores supporting acts such as Phil Wang, Zoe Lyons and Simon Evans.Bennet co-wrote and performed in a comedy musical 'Bendiana Jones and the Temple of Huge' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 with Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated Huge Davies. In 2019 he returned with his first work-in-progress show 'Concerning Bennet' and was a regular panelist on the comedy panel show 'Character Building Experience', which was shortlisted for the BroadwayWorld.com Best Comedy Show.
