Yazz Fetto (aka: The Monk)
Yazz Fetto (aka The Monk) is a comedian. He’s pretty sure he can lay claim to being the only one man Christian comedy stand up/variety/sketch act in the UK. As such, he travels around the country doing shows in clubs, pubs and small sweaty comedy rooms (including The Stand (all three), Hot Water Comedy Club, Glee Club (Birmingham), Backyard Comedy Club, One Off Comedy, Crack Comedy, numerous gigs for Mirth Control Comedy (MC-ing, opening and middle)) and also chapels, churches and small sweaty vestries.
Yazz was once part of Christian sketch group The Monks but he is now the last remaining member. He currently MCs, opens and middles various comedy nights with set lengths varying from 15-25 minutes. Additionally, Yazz is also a comedy writer. He has written for BBC Radio 4s ‘Dead Ringers’. He has also created and developed sitcoms for BBC Radio 4, BBC 1 and BBC 3 and runs a successful Youtube channel.
