Who are these people?
Inder Manocha has performed stand-up comedy all over the world. He has made successful appearances with the Comedy Store’s critically acclaimed ‘Cutting Edge’ team and in 2004 he won the EMMA Award for Best Comedy/Comedian, beating Meera Syal, Lenny Henry and Three Non-Blondes. As an actor, Inder has appeared in TV shows including Skins (E4), Holby City and Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee (BBC1). In 2008, Inder co-presented the MOSAIC Talent Awards with HRH Prince Charles!
Pauline Eyre is a voiceover, continuity announcer & writer, stand-up comedian, corporate video producer, antenatal teacher and fitness instructor – variety is the spice of life! She also a mother of three, which a man might not include on his bio, but it’s something she is immensely proud of, so there. Mostly, she’s a bit knackered.
A former accountant, Tom Goodliffe swapped spreadsheets for spotlights in 2007 and quickly established himself on the comedy circuit with a unique blend of intelligent wit and storytelling flair. He co-created and co-starred in the award-winning family comedy show ‘Bec & Tom’s Awesome Laundry’, supported Fringe favourite TapeFace on tour, fired questions at Sebastian Vettel on a F1 quiz show and can be heard on his regular podcast Fixated, in which he interviews comedians about their obsessions. He has written topical comedy for BBC Radio’s The News Quiz and Newsjack.
Rachel Creeger is an award winning comedian, director and playwright with over 50 credits to her name. Her solo stand up show ‘It’s No Job For A Nice Jewish Girl’ won Best Comedy at the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival in 2017 and went on to sell out most of its Edinburgh run. As a director she has worked with both stand up comedians and comedic theatre, Rachel is best known for shows ‘An Insomniac’s Guide To Ambulances’, ‘Dear Daughter’ by Ria Lina and ‘Mancunian Rhapsody’ by Debra Tammer.
John Roberston is a comedian, author, columnist, satirist, an anarchic improviser, professional troublemaker, multimedia artist and recreational sadist. He’s headlined shows all over the world, done a TEDx talk, performed at events from gaming conventions to anti-suicide fundraisers, been published in horror anthologies, hosted two years of the UK’s only videogame TV show, been the world’s greatest cosplay host, and done it all while being better dressed than the average vampire. In 2012, He created “The Dark Room“, an interactive YouTube game that went viral. After 4,000,000 hits, John turned the game into a live comedy show at Edinburgh Fringe 2012. It has a cult following of people who call themselves Darrens. Don’t ask questions.
