The Roadhouse Comedy Night launched again rising through the flames of these Draconian Times at our new home in Bossard Hall of The Royal British Legion in Leighton Buzzard to return a smile to people\'s faces after an unbelievable year.
The proceedings were kicked off by the professional Alpha Male that is Johnny Murph (Apologies Johnny not Murphy) who as Master of Ceremonies prepared the audience for the lovely Camille Roberts who was visiting from New York and started off the show well. Then the talented musician Phil Alexander who raised the bar higher or lower for your preference for of a vast reportoire of his own songs, I then came on to do say my thank you and do the raffle. Ridwan Hussain kicked off the second half with the mesmerizing Magic Matt Redmond making a bowling ball materialize from an innocuous sketch pad and then assisted by an audience member Leon Denham did some amazing magic.
We raised about £250 and after expenses a small amount for the charities but we have not only cemented our new home and learnt from this experience. Therefore I would like to announce we are returning on Thursday 8th December at The Royal British Legion. The comedians are yet to be finalized but at present Johnny is master of ceremonies with Neil Ben, Hazel Donovan and Steve Adams performing. If you would like an early Christmas party please come down and support local comedy. We are offering an Early Bird offer of a ticket and 5 strips for ......The Raffle if you purchase a ticket before 1st December.
