I'm a character Comedian based on my books. I decided to be a character comedian because I feel there aren't enough characters out there like a Dick Henry etc. The new generation needs people like me . I am a full paid up Equity member because of my Stage and TV experience yet I have never done stand up and have always been told I should. My act is based on a character of my two books I had published in 2015 called Programmed sheep and Paranoid Sheep. My comedy act hopefully brings to the surface all that pisses you off in an anti establishment way I rant about life and bring to the surface why people act like a sheep. Also I tell comics stories of my own woes and frustrations . Sorry I don't do Facebook Instagram etc because I'm not a sheep. I'm not in it for the money I have all I need also I'm not bothered about payment but any wages I get will go into a fund for my grandchildren and I will never do TV appearances as a comedian because I'm not politically correct. And proud of it I believe in free speech. As I am now retired from regular work I just want to have an laugh. I'm looking for a way to break into the comedy scene and hopefully give the Audience a proper alternative to a comedian without limits. Basically I just want to make them laugh.
