Entertainer, LaVelle LaRue, is a Los Angeles area native and is practically a born performer who is always looking for an audience. Fortunately, he doesn't have to go far. LaVelle has been doing standup comedy since 2007. However, through various social media platforms, he is finding new and creative ways to make people laugh right from his living room. Not only has he booked and acted in various indie projects, but he has booked co-star roles in shows such as Shameless and Southland. Being an Army Veteran, LaVelle has experienced what most of us can only imagine. After serving his country, LaVelle struggled with many health issues that resulted in him weighing in at 301 lbs. He decided that life was too short not to laugh every day. He put in the work to take care of his body and mind, losing a whopping 132 lbs in the process. LaVelle realized that life requires the same work ethic he brings to the gym each day. Using all he has learned through comedy and acting, Lavelle's main purpose in life is to bring laughter to the masses and to hopefully inspire a few others along the way.
