Sara Shipley is a New York City-based stand-up comedian, actor, and improviser originally from Western New York. She got her start at Comedy at the Carlson (Rochester, NY), where she opened for Jessica Kirson, Jim Norton, Tim Meadows, Gary Gulman, Jimmy Shubert, and more. After winning the 2021 Funniest Person in Rochester competition, Sara moved to New York City, where she's performed with Don't Tell Comedy, competes regularly with Roast Battle League NYC, and at clubs and independent shows throughout the city. Sara specializes in turning her worst decisions into someone else's favorite story, proving that embarrassment is always funnier when it belongs to someone else.
