When we get something wrong, we want to know about it and fix it openly.<\/p>\n<h2>How to report an error<\/h2>\n<p>Email <a href=\"mailto:corrections@opencomedy.com\">corrections@opencomedy.com<\/a> with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The URL of the article in question.<\/li>\n<li>A short description of what is incorrect.<\/li>\n<li>If possible, a link to a primary source supporting the correction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How we handle corrections<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Factual errors<\/strong> (wrong dates, names, figures, or attributions) are corrected as soon as we have verified the issue. We add a brief correction note to the foot of the article describing what was changed and when.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clarifications<\/strong> (statements that are technically accurate but easy to misread) are added without changing the body text, with a clarification note at the foot of the article.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Substantial reworks<\/strong> (where a core claim turns out to be wrong) are flagged at the top of the article in addition to a correction note. In rare cases we may unpublish a piece while we re-report it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What we do not do<\/h2>\n<p>We do not silently edit published articles. If wording changes after publication for a substantive reason, the change is logged on the page.<\/p>\n<h2>Timing<\/h2>\n<p>Most corrections are processed within one working day of the report.
